Three framed works on a beige wall: a title "The Mind is a Prison," a black-and-white jail photo, and a bio with a woman's portrait.

I am honored to have been selected to be a part of The Genesee–Orleans Regional Arts Council (GO ART!) 2026 Women in the Arts Docu-Exhibition, opening this March in the Batavia City Rotary Club Gallery at GO ART!. This exhibition honors Women’s History Month and celebrates the creative leadership, innovation, and cultural impact of women shaping the arts across the GLOW region and beyond. The exhibition highlight will be a public reception on Thursday, March 19th featuring live music by Elise Kelly, Annie Wright, a brief puppet performance by Pilar McKay, and a roundtable conversation facilitated by one of Batavia’s professional female podcasters, Emily Carlson, whose podcast, Powered by Authenticityis in the top 25% for all podcasts on Spotify. This evening of celebration and dialogue will honor the women featured in the exhibition and invite the community to reflect on the essential role women play in shaping the arts.

If you are in the Western New York Area and want to stop by and check out the exhibition please do. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
