Cotton Candy Sunset
Cotton Candy Sunset

Wispy pink clouds in a background of blue cotton candy. Fluffy and sweet like it was just spun.

Floating so slowly a crossed the sky

It’s almost like they aren’t  moving at all

Loud music of the carnival rides

Mashed together into one fog of noise

Hungry blood suckers attacking in packs

The only protection from them is fast spinning

buzzing drones protecting their leftovers

Not really looking for a fight but will defend if need be

The sweet smell of fried anything

Mixed with outside bathrooms

Endless waiting for 30 seconds of fun

Then again and again and again

Until your brain feels like it just finished the spin cycle on the washing machine
